Definitely Not Forever Young

The Titans got sacked again today as they lost their starting Quarter-back Vince Young for the season. In this weeks game vs the Redskins, Vince hurt his thumb and severely tore a muscle. He will need season ending surgery and was placed on the season ending IR. The titans will greatly miss him has crunch time and playoff fighting begins.

Vince and the Titans have a 5-5 record after losing the last three games. Still, they are right in the playoff hunt in this crazy and unpredictable NFL Season. The Titans are only a game back from the Jaguars and Colts who lead the division and are only a few games away from the wild card.

Still six weeks from now is a long time and much of the NFL season is yet to unfold. On the positive note, the Titans have a solid backup in Kerry Collins who has led them to much success in the past. Young joins Kenny Britt who also was injured earlier in the season after putting up some pretty solid stats.

On the bright side, the Titans still have a ridiculous Running-back in Chris Johnson who led the league in rushing last year with over 2,000 yards. For now, only time will tell the outcome of the Titans and the rest of the teams in the NFL this season.
